I didn't stumble into PPC — I grew up in it. My career started at Rosetta, a premier digital agency in Cleveland, where I learned the craft from the ground up over two years.
I was poached from there to lead PPC at Fathom Agency, where I built and scaled paid search programs for a range of clients. It was there that I found my voice in the industry — speaking at HeroConf (the premier PPC-only conference) twice, and being invited to Google's headquarters four times for lead gen events and in-person meetings with my Google reps.
From agency life, I moved in-house to lead PPC at Budget Dumpster, giving me a deep appreciation for what it's like to own a channel end-to-end inside a growing company.
Eventually, I knew I was built for more. I wanted to work across industries, build real relationships with clients, and do the kind of work that actually moves the needle — without the politics of a big agency or the constraints of one brand. So I built Lex PPC — a Cleveland-based independent PPC consultancy serving clients nationwide.
